PM Narendra Modi considered Dilip Kumar a “true to life legend” as he mourned the loss of the veteran entertainer. The 98-year-old died in Mumbai right off the bat Wednesday, as affirmed by his family. 

As PM Modi stated in his Tweet:

“Dilip Kumar Ji will be recognized as a true to life legend. He was honoured with unrivalled splendour because of which crowds across ages were enchanted. 

His death is a misfortune to our social world. Sympathies to his family, companions and incalculable admirers. Tear,” PM Modi said on Twitter. 

Union Minister Smriti Irani said Dilip Kumar’s demise denotes the conclusion of a significant period. 

Piyush Goyal also paid recognitions for the veteran entertainer, saying he would consistently stay eternal as a craftsman.

Piyush Goyal stated in his Tweet:

“I’m profoundly anguished by the destruction of Dilip Kumar Ji, who held a novel spot in the field of acting. He gave another measurement to Indian film through his acting. 

He will stay eternal as an entertainer and consistently discover a spot in his fans’ hearts,” he stated in a tweet posted in Hindi. 

The different honour winning entertainer’s profession crossed over sixty years. During the brilliant period of Hindi film, Dilip Kumar enchanted many hearts with his exhibition of over 65 movies. 

Brought into the world as Muhammad Yusuf Khan in Peshawar, Pakistan, he started his acting profession with the screen name Dilip Kumar. 

Dilip Kumar holds the record for the most Filmfare Awards he has received:

Dilip Kumar owns the record for winning the greatest number of Filmfare grants. He was the debut beneficiary of the honour and won the best entertainer Filmfare Award multiple times.
