The company that made the movie, DVV Entertainments, thanked Google for recognising it as a worldwide phenomenon. The people who made the new Google animation said in a tweet, “I’d like to thank @Google for catching us by surprise and noticing how popular and well-known RRR is around the world! Look for RRR on Google and send us a screenshot or video with the hashtags #RRRTakeOver and #RRRMovie.”

How well RRR does on OTT

RRR broke box office records and, according to Netflix, was “the only non-English picture ever to trend globally on Netflix for 10 consecutive weeks.” It also became the “most popular Indian film” on the streaming service everywhere in the world.
