On Thursday, the Bombay high court will keep hearing on the bail supplication of Aryan Khan, who was captured alongside seven others after an attack by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on a journey transport off the shore of Mumbai on October 2. 

The 23-year-old and two of his companions – Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha – moved the high court after his past petitions were dismissed by the meetings court and the unique NDPS court. 

The high court has been hearing Aryan Khan’s request for the beyond two days. Aryan, the child of entertainer Shah Rukh Khan, is being addressed by a hitter of legal counsellors, including previous principal legal officer Mukul Rohatgi. 

On Wednesday, the legal advisors of the blamed let the high court know that their capture abused protected arrangements, adding that NCB’s cases of worldwide dealing were “crazy and bogus”. 

Senior promoter Amit Desai, who was addressing Merchant, called attention to that in minor offences, the settled lawful position was that capture was allowed distinctly in extraordinary cases. “Bail is the standard and prison is a special case, presently capture is the standard, and bail is an exemption,” Desai said. 

Senior promoter Mukul Rohatgi, who made the main part of his entries for Aryan on Tuesday, contended that the capture was an immediate encroachment of sacred arrangements as the capture update didn’t give the “valid and right grounds”. 

Each of the three has been charged under rigid areas of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. 

They have all been in guardianship for 23 days – through hearings, postponements, and bail dissents by two different courts. 

Aryan Khan was captured on October 3 in a strike drove by NCB’s Mumbai zonal chief Sameer Wankhede who said that 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of mephedrone, 21 grams of Charas, 22 pills of MDMA (rapture), and ₹1.33 lakh in real money were recuperated from the journey transport, Cordelia. 

As of now, Aryan Khan is held up at Mumbai’s Arthur Road Prison alongside Merchant. Dhamecha, in the interim, is at Byculla ladies jail.
