‘KGF Chapter 2′ is the sequel to Prashanth Neel’s Kannada blockbuster ‘KGF Chapter 1′. The first section of KGF portrays an underdog who becomes a ruthless mobster, starring Yash.
Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken, and Saran star in the sequel. ‘KGF Chapter 2′ is directed by Vijay Kiragandur and released in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam on April 14, 2022. In North India, the film is distributed by Excel Entertainment and AA Films.
“When we started with the film, we never believed it would be this (huge) and that we would be here today,” Prashant said in an interview with PTI. We didn’t set out to make it a pan-Indian film or even two-parts. We started out as a Kannada film and then decided to split it in two and take it overseas. The producer and Yash deserve credit. “I came up with the story idea of mother-son as a way to connect with others.”
