The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that on the night between Thursday and Friday, an earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale hit Kolhapur in Maharashtra.
Around 2:21 AM, there was a quake. The earthquake happened 10 kilometres below the earth’s surface.
At about 2:21 a.m. today, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake was reported 171 kilometres east of Kolhapur, Maharashtra. A tweet from NCS says that the earthquake happened 10 km below the surface.
The National Center for Seismology (NCS) had said before that an earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale hit Kolhapur in Maharashtra on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.
At 12:04 p.m. on Thursday, the quake hit. The earthquake happened 5 km beneath the earth’s surface.
