Lieutenant Advitiya Bal was one of the pilots of the MiG-21 fighter plane that crashed in Rajasthan. His body will be taken to Jammu and Kashmir, where he was from. At the Jammu and Kashmir Air Force Station, there will be a ceremony where wreaths will be laid. After that, his dead body will be taken to his home town of RS Pura, where he will be burned as part of a religious ceremony.

The fighter plane was shot down on Thursday in the Barmer area of Rajasthan. The plane’s wreckage was found spread out over a half-kilometer long area in the village of Bhimda in the district of Barmer.

The two pilots who were in the plane when it crashed both died from the injuries they got in the crash. Lieutenant Advitiya Bal and Wing Commander M. Rana were flying a mission over the Baytu region when the accident happened.

At this point, the exact reasons for the crash are unknown, and the Indian Air Force has ordered the creation of a court of inquiry to look into what happened.
