Bharat Jodo Yatra: Rohith Vemula’s mom joins Rahul, broadens fortitude

Hyderabad: “Rohith Vemula is and will stay an image of my battle against social segregation and shamefulness”, Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi said on Tuesday at the party’s Bharat Jodo Yatra recalling the Dalit understudy who committed suicide in 2016 following claimed provocation. Rohith’s mom Radhika Vemula met Gandhi and strolled with him momentarily during the morning leg of the Yatra. “Stretched out fortitude to Bharat Jodo Yatra, strolled with Rahul Gandhi, and called upon Congress to save Constitution from BJP-RSS attack, Equity for Rohith Vemula, passing Rohith Act, expanding portrayal of Dalits, persecuted segments in higher legal executive, schooling for all,” Radhika Vemula tweeted after the gathering.
