According to K Surendran, state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the situation in Kerala is a national security threat, and the party intends to approach Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh about the situation.

He was speaking to media after attending the funeral of deceased RSS leader Sreenivasan, who was laid to rest at Palakkad.

It should be emphasised that the RSS leader was assassinated by members of the Islamist organisation, SDPI, who stormed into his office in Melamuri, Palakkad, and shot him to death.

Surendran stated that the Kerala BJP would inform Union Home Minister Amit Shah of the situation in the state when he visits the state on April 29. Amit Shah would be visiting the state on April 29.

Kerala Governor, according to the BJP leader, supports the Islamist terror organisation, and the state police are encircled by the CPI-M-led political leadership, which prevents them from taking action against the perpetrators, he added.

He claimed that the recent deaths of RSS and BJP activists in Palakkad, Alappuzha, and Vayalar were carried out by Islamic terrorists on their own initiative. Surendran stated that the Kerala police did not make any attempts to uncover the conspiracy angle in the previous murders, and that this was a “gross failure” and “negligence” on the part of the state police. Surendran also stated that the state police failed to investigate the previous murders thoroughly.

According to the BJP spokesman, the Kerala High Court had ordered a CBI investigation into the murder of RSS worker Sanjith, who was assassinated by Islamists on November 15, 2021, according to the court order.
