Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi criticised the Centre and the ruling BJP government in Maharashtra on Sunday after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) moved party MP Sanjay Raut to its office in a money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the redevelopment of a Mumbai “chawl” and related transactions involving his wife and “associates.” She said what she did not long after the ED sent MP Sanjay Raut to its

Chaturvedi wrote on Twitter, “It is a shameful attempt to use central agencies to bother the leaders of the opposition.” He said that it was an attempt to “silence one of the most vocal critics of the national and state BJP and its wrongdoings.” “If you say this kind of abuse is wrong, we will all work together to stop it.”

Sh @rautsanjay61 ji is one of the most vocal critics of the wrongdoings of the central and state BJP, and work is already being done to silence him. Using the central agencies as a way to harass the leaders of the opposition is a very low thing to do. This kind of harassment is wrong, and you should know that we will all work together to solve this problem.

Later, in another tweet written in Hindi, the Sena MP said, “Won’t bow down, won’t be afraid, will face (Saamna) with pride. Jai Maharashtra!” The Shiv Sena’s spokesperson is Saamna, while Raut is the magazine’s editor.

Raut said that he wasn’t involved in any kind of fraud and that the evidence the ED used to take action against him was made up. He said that he would die, but he wouldn’t give up or leave the Shiv Sena.

The member of the Rajya Sabha said these things in tweets that he sent out right after a central agency started searching his home in the suburb of Bhandup in the morning because of a case involving money laundering.

In connection with the investigation into money laundering, the ED sent Raut two requests to talk to them, but he didn’t show up for either one.

On July 1, he went to the main agency to give his statement and have it written down. “Fake action and fake evidence to back it up. I will die, but I won’t give up. I have no plans to leave Shiv Sena ever. I swear in front of Balasaheb Thackeray that I don’t take part in any kind of scam. We learned how to fight from him, and I’m going to keep fighting for the Shiv Sena, “Raut said.
