The Congress leader also included a photo of Kishor and himself. Earlier this week, Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said Kishor had rebuffed an invitation to join the party.
« Congress President has formed an Empowered Action Group 2024 and invited Sh. Prashant Kishor to join the party as part of the group with specified duty. He didn’t. Thank you for your suggestions,” Surjewala tweeted.
Prashant Kishor’s announcement comes weeks after the party’s ‘Big Reboot’ strategy was announced. The election specialist meets with key Congress leaders three times, including president Sonia Gandhi.
Reports said Kishor applied for the role and offered his proposals to restructure the party in 2024 to confront the BJP. Prashant Kishor, in his declination, said Congress needs a strong leader, not a new face.
