Present evidence that Muslim and Yadav voters were eliminated: Akhilesh Yadav, EC

New Delhi, October 27: The Election Commission has requested that SP leader Akhilesh Yadav provide evidence to support his claim that the ECI purposefully removed the names of 20,000 voters from the Yadav and Muslim groups in nearly all of the UP Assembly constituencies at the BJP’s request.

Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the SP, claimed in a statement last month that “the Election Commission deliberately lowered the votes of Yadavs and Muslims by 20,000 in practically every Vidhan Sabha seat on diktats of BJP and its aides.”

Akhilesh Yadav, the SP chief, has been requested to provide the Commission with information by November 10, 2022, so that appropriate action may be taken. Yadav has been requested to provide statistics broken down each assembly.
