Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Goa on Saturday, months before the gathering races in the waterfront state booked to be held one year from now, to meet party labourers and individuals. 

Congress Goa unit president Girish Chodankar told news office PTI on Tuesday that Gandhi will address a show of party labourers at the SPM Stadium in Bambolim close to Panaji and will participate in different other party-level occasions during the day. 

On Sunday, the Congress chief will meet anglers at Velsao. “Rahul Gandhi will connect with anglers at Velsao (a beachfront town) just as with individuals who will be influenced by the rail route multiplying project (that goes through a similar town),” Chodankar said. 

Chodankar added that Gandhi would likewise meet individuals who the conclusion of the mining business has influenced in Panaji before tending to the show of party labourers at the SPM arena. 

Gandhi’s visit comes only two days after Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and West Bengal boss pastor Mamata Banerjee started her three-day visit to Goa on Thursday. 

On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and other senior Congress pioneers went to a gathering in New Delhi to talk about the forthcoming get together races in Goa alongside Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Manipur in 2022.
