“Here is the number related that merits the Nobel Prize for Economics. A month-to-month award of Rs. 5,000 to a lady in 3.5 lakh families in Goa will cost ₹175 crores a month. That is Rs. 2100 crore a year.

It is a “little” total for the State of Goa that had a remarkable obligation of Rs. 23,473 crore toward the finish of March 2020. God favors Goa! Or then again, should it be God save Goa?” Chidambaram tweeted right off the bat Sunday.

Moitra rushed to hit back, saying that the plan was “totally feasible,” disclosing that it comes to 6-8% of the Goa Budget.

“Indeed sir @PChidambaram_IN ₹5000 to 3.5 lakh Goan families = ₹2100 crores is 6-8% of all-out spending plan, which is completely feasible. Great financial matters in [a] discouraged post-Covid-19 situation requires placing cash close by and liquidity into [the] framework,” Moitra tweeted.

The party handles excessively reacted to the Congress chief.

“You can keep figuring it out @PChidambaram_INji, while we are caught up with submerging ourselves in serving individuals of Goa since that is the need of great importance.

Goa merits great and reasonable administration, and it’s time somebody gave that,” the AITC Goa official handle tweeted.

On Saturday, the Trinamool reported the plan they marked the Griha Laxmi Scheme, promising one lady for every family to be given ₹5,000 each month covering all the assessed 3.50 lakh families in Goa.

“The month-to-month advantage of Rs. 5,000 will be made accessible through direct advantage cash move. 3.51 lakh families will be covered under the plan. This will be all-inclusive inclusion – – you don’t need to have a place with any retrogressive position or the local area; you don’t need to have a place with any financially denied segment. It will be for everybody,” Moitra had reported.

“The monetary portion for this will be between ₹1500 to 2,000 crore, which is 6-8% of Goa’s spending plan,” she added.

Goa, as of now, has a plan that previous Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar started in 2012 called the Griha Aadhar to conspire, which gives a family ₹1500 each month.

However, it is offered distinctly to the monetarily more fragile part of Goan culture that is – – the gross pay of the couple, taken together ought not to surpass ₹3-lakh per annum to be qualified for the plan.
