A June 8 launch date for the Oppo K10 5G smartphone in India has been revealed by the Chinese manufacturer. According to the phone’s moniker, it will be an upgrade to the original Oppo K10 that was released in March. Unlike the Chinese variant introduced in April, the Oppo K10 5G in India is known to be a completely different phone. Dual rear-facing cameras have been rumoured for the India-specific model. In addition, it appears to come in two separate hues.
Launch of Oppo K10 5G in India
Oppo has announced that the Oppo K10 5G will go on sale in India on March 28th, as previously reported. According to a press release from the corporation, the launch will take place on June 8 at 12 p.m
Oppo stated that the K10 5G would be available for purchase through Flipkart, retail stores, and the company’s web shop following its debut. In addition, a “premium 5G chip” and “lightning-fast charging” are touted for the device.
Flipkart has set up a new webpage to tease the arrival of the Oppo K10 5G in India. Using the teaser website, we can get a first look at the phone’s twin rear cameras and waterdrop-style notch. Also, Flipkart lists two distinct colour options for the phone.
The Oppo K10 5G’s design, as shown on Flipkart, is a complete departure from the Oppo K10 5G’s China launch earlier this year. According to initial indications, the India model will be distinct from the China model.
Expected specifications of the Oppo K10 5G
Oppo K10 5G is expected to have a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate when it launches in India, running Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 by default. In addition, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage are expected to be included in the device. It would have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the rear
Oppo K10 5G in India is expected to include an in-built battery with 33W rapid charging. Dual speakers and a fingerprint sensor on the side are reportedly rumoured to be included.
The Oppo K10 5G in China, on the other hand, has a 6.59-inch hole-punch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone was equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8000-Max SoC and three rear-facing cameras. 67W rapid charging was also offered.
